What is the GreenButton SDK?

The GreenButton SDK allows Software Developers to quickly and easily bring the power of on-demand cloud computing to processor intensive applications. The GreenButton SDK will allow developers to boost the performance of their applications and improve their customers experience in the shortest amount of time.

The GreenButton is compatible with desktop, web and mobile applications, or can be integrated with your backend system. If you are thinking about using the Cloud to increase performance, then our SDK will allow you to get there sooner.

GreenButton Application Services.

System requirements

The GreenButton currently supports the Windows Azure Framework and therefore the following considerations apply:

  1. The application runs in a Windows Server 2008 R2 environment
  2. The compute tasks are already Embarrassingly Parallelizable
  3. Message Passing Interface (MPI) is now supported depending on I/O and performance requirements

The GreenButton Framework consists of a complete set of application services required to provide a complete turnkey solution for your application. Having these services already available means that you can focus on your application and business while we focus on managing the end-to-end processing and performance. The application services we have created include features such as Security, Online Billing, Dynamic Queuing of Jobs, Online Storage and Asset Management, Automatic Provisioning of Hardware Resources and so on.

There are many technical challenges in delivering a hosted and distributed HPC (High Performance Computing) solution over the Net. The current IaaS/PaaS providers toolkits don't make this easy. We believe that the fastest and easiest way to achieve high performance cloud computing with the least resistance is through us.

The SDK will ultimately allow you to access GreenButton's vast processing capacity right from within your application.

Getting started

We will provide you with the SDK and any relevant documentation so that you have the information to begin developing the GreenButton API for your Application.

We work very closely with our Software Vendors and provide personal assistance throughout the process.

The full SDK program will consist of:

  • Development and testing
  • Technical Certification
  • Beta testing

  • 3 Month review
  • 12 month review and renewal of contract
